Why workcamps? What makes it worth the time, money and effort to come and sweat, sleep on floors and step into impoverished situations that affect the rest of your life? Reach is making its final plans for its 18th summer. As I tell the summer staff each year, something will happen this year that has never happened before. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us this year. But, why you, why do you come to camp? I was also wondering if anyone is reading this page. Maybe I should "think" more often or "think" in a different place, what do you think? The first three responses will get a free t-shirt. I really am curious about why you come to a workcamp.

I go to serve, to let people know the Lord is alive and cares for them even when they believe he is not listening. We tend to look at ourselves first and
others second so by attending a camp, I have put them first. Sometimes all that is needed is just to show others love.
